Envision Energy has announced that it has been awarded a 2GW order in India.
It has not named the buyer, the projects involved or their location.
The Chinese turbine manufacturer will supply 596 of its EN156/3.3 turbines to unidentified projects by the end of 2023.
It will manufacture the turbines at its factories in India. It has a nacelle and hub-assembly plant in Maharashtra in west India, and is also building a blade factory that is due to be completed by Q1 2023.
