WindTech: MHI Vestas goes global with 9.5MW typhoon-class V174
MHI Vestas introduced its latest V174-9.5MW offshore turbine model with an enlarged 174-metre rotor in February. Senior product manager Anders Bach Andersen talked to Eize de Vries at the recent WindEurope event in Bilbao about how this model differs from to the "original" V164 series, including last year's V164-10.0MW upgrade.
