K2 Management lines up next CEO

Danish Consultancy K2 Management has appointed a new CEO after parting company with its former head last year.

Renewables project advisory firm K2 Management has appointed Jørn Zielke as its new CEO

Jørn Zielke will take over the reins in the first half of the year when released from the contract with municipal utility Vestforsyning, where he is currently CEO.

He replaces K2 co-founder Lars K. Hammershøj, who has been acting as interim CEO since Henrik Stamer left the company in October 2018. This arrangement will continue until Zielke fully joins the company, K2 stated.

Zielke has also held various management roles in Denmark, Spain and the US, including CEO at two other Danish utilities, EnergiMidt Fiberbredbånd and NRGi Infrastruktur.

K2, opened a new office in Beijing, China earlier this month, and is now active in six continents.

"We have just commenced a new company strategy for the next three years, which will build on the exponential growth seen in the company over the last years," Lindvig said.
