It bought the 500MW Lucky Star, 280MW Two Rivers, 15MW Hanna projects from Colorado-based developer Intermountain Wind for an undisclosed fee.
All three sites are based in Carbon and Albany counties in the south-east of the state and have secured land rights and strong wind resources, BluEarth stated.
The Canadian company added it would advance development of the portfolio towards commercial operation, while Intermountain president Paul Martin "will remain highly involved".
Grant Arnold, BluEarth’s president and CEO, said that the projects were due to be commissioned in "the next several years", but the company could not give a precise date.
A company spokeswoman added it was "too early to comment on when construction and operations would commence".
The cost of the acquisition was not disclosed.
BluEarth has 325MW net (565MW gross) wind capacity in operation and under construction in the US and Canada.
Prior to the acquisition from Intermountain, it had more than 1GW of projects under development, and describes more than 400MW of this as being in "advanced development".
