EE's 500 retail locations will be powered by 680MW of wind and solar-generated electricity until 2021 as part of the deal with Npower, a subsidiary of German utility Innogy.
EE-owner BT is planning to source 100% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020. It was powered by 82% renewables in 2016.
It signed a 100MW PPA with EDF Energy Renewables for the power from three onshore projects in June 2014.
The telecommunications group is also looking to cut its carbon emissions by 87% by 2030.
"An organisation the size of ours has a responsibility to conduct business sustainably and this new deal, whilst also making sense from a business perspective, reaffirms our commitment to doing just that," said EE CFO Stephen Harris.
