The 77,000-square-metre site will produce 400MW of blades for Suzlon's 2.1MW turbine, the company said. Each blade is 54.8 metres long.
It is the company's 14th manufacturing site in India, but the first blade plant in Madhya Pradesh.
Suzlon has employed and trained 20 female engineers over nine months to work at the plant.
In total of 480 direct jobs and approximately 50 indirect jobs have been created as a result of the new factory, according to Suzlon.
