Availon operates in Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Poland and the US, on top of its main domestic market, according to Vestas.
The takeover is still dependent on relevant authority approvals but Vestas said it expects the deal to close in early 2016.
Availon has approximately 400 employees and services more than 2.6GW of turbines across its portfolio. According to its website, Availon has the capabilities to service Vestas, GE and Gamesa turbines.
"Acquiring Availon is a natural next step in accelerating Vestas' profitable growth strategy in the service business. Size and scale matter and the acquisition strengthens our capabilities to service most major turbine technologies and to capture market shares," said Vestas Group senior vice president Christian Venderby.
"Availon is a solid strategic fit and a great complement to our recent acquisition of UpWind Solutions in the United States", he added.
In December, Vestas acquired US service provider Upwind Solutions in a $60 million (€55 million) deal.
