EWE hires Northern HeliCopter

GERMANY: Emden-based Northern HeliCopter has been contracted by EWE Offshore Service & Solutions, to supply helicopter-based emergency medical services to several North Sea wind projects.

The contract relates to Global Tech I, Trianel Windpark Borkum (also known as Borkum West 2 phase 1), Riffgat and Alpha Ventus.

Headquartered in northern Germany, EWE is a shareholder in the 60MW Alpha Ventus project, which was Germany's first offshore wind farm. It is also the primary developer behind Riffgat.

Trianel is a client of EWE.
