The contract is for 65 AW3000 125-metre rotor medium-wind turbines to go to the Lagoa do Barro I-VII and Queimada Nova projects projects near the state of Piauí in northeast Brazil.
According to Acciona the project will be commissioned in 2018 with the turbines arriving in 2017. The deal includes a 15-year service contract.
Acciona said it has sold more than 1GW of AW3000s in Brazil since 2012.
The last of these came in January, when it received a 117MW deal from Rio Energy for 39 AW3000 turbines with 116-metre rotors for the Itarema 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 projects located in Ceará state.
