The last of the 41 jacket foundations has now been loaded out for transport to the project located 32 kilometres from shore in the Baltic Sea.
The jackets were manufactured at the 30,000-square-metre facility at Lindø Industrial Park in Denmark, built specifically to produce the foundations for the project.
Bladt is also working with EEW to manufacture 39 monopiles for the project. Due to differing seabed conditions and water depths, the development will use both types of foundation.
In November, Ambau completed the fabrication of 41 transition pieces for the jackets destined for Baltic 2.
The project is being developed by EnBW. It will feature Siemens 3.6MW turbines, and is expected to be completed in 2015.
