RWE hands Nordex 17MW deal

POLAND: Nordex has won a 17MW deal from RWE to supply turbines to a project in the Poznan region, west Poland.

Nordex will deliver seven N117/2400 turbines to the project in west Poland

Nordex will supply seven N117/2400 machines will be delivered to the Opalenica project, due to come online later this year. The deal comes with a 15-year service contract.

In August 2014, the manufacturer was contracted to provide 15 N100/2500 turbines for the Orla project, owned by private equity firm C&C Wind.

According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, RWE has around 300MW either online and in development in Poland. Projects include the 129MW Smigiel cluster in west Poland.
