The new vessel measures 27 by 12 metres and comes with two engines and a maximum pull of 35 tonnes. It will be named the Marineco Havannah.
This is not Damen's first order from MarineCo. In 2013, it ordered two Twin Axel vessels to provide fuel supplies, carry out surveys, diving work and clean monopiles.
MarineCo's fleets consists entirely of Damen vessels.
In September, Damen completed the design of a new offshore wind support vessel to be used for operations in the central North Sea area.
The Damen WSV walk-to-work vessel will support and accommodate turbine maintenance crews at sea.
The monohull boat has been designed to provide accommodation and on-site work facilities for as many as 45 maintenance workers and 15 crew members for up to one month.
