Yongji Electric, a subsidiary of China Northern Railways, develops electrical components for a variety of industries. It also manufactures wind turbines.
At present, it can supply more than 4,000 motors a year to equip wind turbines ranging from 1.5MW to 3MW in generating capacity. The company claims this could meet half the annual demands for the products on the domestic market.
Goldwind reported revenues of CNY 4.47 billion in the first half of this year, up 37.74% on the same period of 2013. Net profits totalled CNY 331 million, up 256.8% year on year.
Goldwind said it expected the Q3 performance is likely to climb 500-550% on same period in 2013.
Goldwind signs CNY 2.7 billion supply deal
CHINA: Goldwind has signed a CNY 2.7 billion ($439 million) generator supply deal with CNR Yongji Electric Equipment Company for 1.5MW and 2.5MW wind turbines.
