G9 was set up in 2010 by nine offshore wind project developers, including Danish firm Dong Energy, UK-based Centrica and Sweden's Vattenfall. It aims to improve health and safety in the offshore industry.
The data collected reported 616 reported incidents across the 35 offshore sites in the UK and Northern Europe in 2013.
Most encouragingly, there were no reported fatalities from the projects, with only 30 injuries requiring medical treatment and 61 first aid incidents.
Figures by G9 showed the majority of incidents took place took place in the nacelles, the turbine tower or at the harbour or quay.
G9 chairman and Dong UK's country manager Benj Sykes said he hoped the report would be established as a tool used in the offshore industry and encourage safety improvements.
G9 is currently working to produce good practice guidelines, in partnership with the Energy Institute on: working at height, lifting operations and marine vessels operations. It hopes these guidelines will provide standardisation across the sector when published later this year.
