Last week, the blade underwent Flapwise and Edgewise tests and has since completed a full-scale post-fatigue static test. The blade met the quality standards set by the IEC and GL.
The prototype was subjected to testing equivalent to the loads expected over its expected 25-year lifetime operating at 7MW.
Following the post-fatigue test, Euros said its static and dynamic properties "remained the same" as previous tests.
The blades will now be installed on the 7MW Mitsubishi SeaAngel turbine.
The SeaAngel is currently being tested in Japan and is set to be installed at the Hunterston test centre in Scotland.
