CCCC wins Guangdong offshore installation contract

CHINA: China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) has won the contract to install foundations and turbines at the Guishan offshore wind farm in Guangdong province.

CCCC will install the Ming Yang 3MW turbines

The deal is for the construction of 17 Ming Yang 3MW turbines at a demonstration project in the mouth of the Pearl River.

South Sea Wind Power Development is developing the site which is eventually intended to reach a capacity of 200MW.

CCCC will also construct the jacket foundations that will be used on the project.
