The Keechi wind farm in Jack County Texas, which will be made up of 55 Vestas V100-2MW turbines, will be built by RES under a "fixed-price, engineering, procurement and construction agreement".
Work on the project was begun last month and the wind farm is expect to go online early in 2015.
A 19-kilometre power line will connect the project to the grid at Brazos Electric's Joplin substation, with the power being sold under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft.
In November last year, the tech giant signed the agreement to buy the energy from the project which feeds into the same grid as powers its San Antonio data centre.
Vestas will provide operations and maintenance services at the devlopment for five years from the date of commercial operation as part of the turbine deal.
Enbridge has funded three other wind projects developed by RES, including the 99MW Talbot development in Ontario, Canada, and the 250MW Cedar Point wind farm in Colorado.
The Keechi project will bring the total capacity of the wind developments in which Enbridge holds stakes to more than 1.8GW, the company said.
