Apex buys 165MW Texan project

UNITED STATES: Apex Clean Energy has acquired the 165MW Midway Farms wind project in San Patricio County, Texas.

Apex's Canadian Hills project
The project is located in San Patricio County, between the towns of Portland and Taft and encompasses an area of 65 square kilometres.

Apex has not yet specified when construction is expected to begin, or the turbines that will be used on the site.

In December 2012, Apex completed the development and construction of the 300MW Canadian Hills Wind project outside Oklahoma City, bringing its number of commissioned wind farms to nine.
