The Vermont-based company, which makes resource assessment and turbine optimisation equipment, said it wanted to highlight its commitment ‘to providing whole systems and solutions to the renewable energy market’.
Renewable NRG Systems is thought to be looking to expand from its traditional wind assessment manufacturing base to include equipment for other renewable energy sources.
The company already produces some solar energy assessment systems.
Owner, president and CEO of Renewable NRG Systems, Jan (Blittersdorf) Blomstrann, said: "Though our roots are in wind resource assessment technology, our products — both existing and those in development — allow us to expand the company’s reach into a broader market. We are thrilled that our new brand is well-aligned with this focus."
