UK-headquartered Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has signed a three-year framework contract with TenneT, setting the stage for its continued success in supporting construction of Germany’s offshore electricity network.
“uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Offshore understands that a previously-signed framework contract between OMM and TenneT for the supply of guard vessels failed to result in much work, while OMM’s contract to supply personnel to TenneT is longer relevant, given the August 2012 sale of OMM’s business supplying personnel for offshore projects. Known as Main Source Offshore People Ltd, the business was acquired by Atlas Services Group.
OMM has been involved in the construction of the BorWin1, BorWin2 and HelWin1 offshore wind export cable projects. In the UK, OMM has undertaken work for the developers of Dogger Bank as well as contributing to Sheringham Shoal, Greater Gabbard, Burbo Bank and Barrow offshore wind farms.
