AMSC has completed the design of its 10MW Sea Titan turbine, aimed at the offshore wind market.

The company reports that it is in talks with potential partners to build the machine, including blade manufacturers. The turbine generator has already been tested by the US Navy.

Under development since 2010, AMSC has confirmed that Sinovel has not had access to the Sea Titan design, despite rumours to the contrary.
