All twenty-seven Siemens SWT-2.3-93 turbines are in place, at EDF's Teesside offshore wind farm. Installation has been completed from the MPI Adventure, operating out of the port of Hartlepool. The vessel is now moored in the Tees.
Construction at the 62MW project off Redcar has been hampered a little at times, due to site specific factors. But progress has been steady since January, when turbine installation got underway and first power was achieved in April. Technical, commissioning and testing work remains ongoing and project completion is expected shortly.
