SeaEnergy launches ship management company

Aberdeen-based energy services group expands its offering

SeaEnergy has announced the launch of a ship management company. SeaEnergy Ship Management Limited will offer services across the offshore energy sector.

The Aberdeen-based energy services group has recruited the team that formerly operated as Brooklyn Shipping Limited.

SeaEnergy Ship Management's focus will be wind farm and oil and gas clients seeking "walk to work" access to installations for maintenance projects. The new team will be backed by SeaEnergy's existing engineering and naval architecture expertise.

Mike Comerford, SeaEnergy's director of operations, said: "We’re delighted to be adding a high quality, cost-focused ship management capability to the group. This builds on the existing aspects of our business [and] allows us to broaden our range of services to clients."
