Windicator: Latin America strongest market for turbine suppliers

Wind turbine suppliers found plenty of opportunity in the Americas during the first quarter. In Canada, French manufacturer Alstom is supplying 138 ECO 110 3.0MW turbines and Spanish rival Acciona - once a significant global player but far less so of late - sprang back to life with 102MW in orders for its AW3000-116.
