Sinovel said it plans to set up an investment company to handle wind farm construction.
The manufacturer's annual report also said it had completed design work on 15MW and 10MW turbines, and claimed it had proceeded with overall plans and detailed designs of components for the turbines.
By the end of 2012, Sinovel had a pipeline of 4,083MW in orders, consisting of 3,895.5MW from domestic buyers and 187.5MW from overseas buyers.
At the same time it received 1,338MW of new orders from domestic buyers in 2012 and 261MW of new orders from overseas buyers.
Sinovel also had conditional orders for 9,089MW of turbines, 9,006.5MW of that in China, and the remaining 82.5MW overseas. Among these orders, 3MW and larger turbines exceeded 44.86%.
