Wind gives bigger share of electricity generation in the US

UNITED STATES: Wind power generation rose in 2013 and produced more than 10% of electricity in nine states, up from five in 2011. Across the country, wind generated 3.5% of the nation's electricity, behind coal with 37%, natural gas with 30%, nuclear with 19% and hydro-electric with 6.9%.
