EDF EN will pay an additional amount for a further five projects under development with a combined capacity of 60MW. The assets are concentrated in the Nord-Pas de Calais region and across northern France.

For its part, Séchilienne-Sidec says it wants to focus on biomass as an energy source.
On 31 September, EDF EN had 364.5MW net operating capacity in France, with 36MW under construction on its own account and 28.4MW for third parties.
