More research should cut bat fatalities

WORLDWIDE: We know that bats can be adversely affected by wind farms in a number of ways, ranging from collision with turbine blades to barotrauma, which occurs when a change in air pressure causes lung failure. Other wind-related impacts can include disorientation and the loss and/or fragmentation of foraging habitat.
