Enel Green Power and GE Capital partner on Oklahoma project

UNITED STATES: Italy’s Enel Green Power (EGP) and GE Capital have agreed terms on jointly investing in a 235.2MW wind farm in Oklahoma.

The agreement relates to the development of the Chisholm View wind farm, which requires a total equity investment of approximately  $375 million.

GE Capital subsidiary EFS Chisholm will invest approximately $191 million for a 51% stake in the project, while EGP North America will contribute around $184 million for a 49% stake.

EGP North America has an option to further increase its stake up to a further 26% of EFS Chisholm equity on specific dates in 2012 and 2013.

Chisholm View is supported by a long term power purchase agreement.
