The developer is to get funding from US Bancorp to complete the project, which has a 20-year PPA with the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Bishop Hill I is currently under construction and is expected to come online later this year. It uses GE 1.6MW turbines.
Last month, Invenergy sold its Bishop Hill II project to MidAmerican Energy. The project, which has a PPA with Amren Energy, is also under construction and is expected to come online by the end of the year.
Invenergy has developed five wind energy projects in Illinois.
