The contract is for 112 V100 1.8MW low wind speed turbines, which will be delivered in the first half of 2012.
E.ON requested Vestas did not reveal the location of the project.
The last turbine order by E.ON was for the Papalote Creek II project in San Patricio County. The project used 87 Siemens SWT-2.3-101 low wind turbines.
The company has a total US capacity of 1.9MW, which includes the 782MW Roscoe wind farm in Texas.
