Ningxia hands Nordex 49.5MW order

CHINA: Nordex has won an order from Ningxia Electric Power to supply 49.5MW for two projects in the Ningxia autonomous region of northwest China.

Nordex will supply 33 S82/1500 machines for the Niushoushan I and Niushoushan II projects. They will be located outside the city of Qingtongxia.

The turbines are set to be delivered and installed by the end of the year.

In August last year, Nordex Nordex received a 45MW order from Ningixia Electric for a wind project near the city of Wuzhong.

The order represents the third and fourth phases of the ‘Sunhill’ project, which is expected to reach around 200MW capacity.
