Vestas accused of false reporting in US lawsuit

UNITED STATES: Vestas is being sued by a pension fund who claims the company issued false information regarding its revenue and earnings.

According to the lawsuit, which has been filed in Colarado’s federal district court, the alleged false reporting was made between October 2009 and October 2010.

Vestas said it concerned "the change in accounting policy, ref. company announcement No. 44/2010 of 22 November 2010. The company has reviewed the complaint with its legal and other advisors and believes that the complaint is without merit."

This is not the only Vestas’ case running through the Colorado courts. In February it was revealed the company it suing a former finance director for the theft of $1 million.
