The deal will see Arise acquire the project company Jädraås Vindkraft, which is handling the Jädraås project, Gästrikland province, eastern Swesen.
Arise bought the rights from forrestry-owner Bergvik Skog and wind developer Ownpower Project. It said it had, in principle, agreed to use Vestas turbines on the project.
Construction work is scheduled to begin by July 2011 and the turbines put into operation in 2012.
Vestas won a deal in December from RES subsidiary Nordisk Vindcraft to supply 41MW for the Amliden project in southern Sweden.
The project will use 22 V100 1.8MW turbines, to be delivered by December 2012.
