The projects include the 36MW Scott plant near Nagyigmad, and the 26MW Amundsun and 8MW Csoma II plants near Ikervar, all in north west Hungary. The facilities use Gamesa G90-2MW wind turbines.
The company now has five wind farms in the country with a combined capacity of 158MW and is managing new projects to build a further 100MW. Total wind capacity in Hungary is 330MW.
Iberdrola connected its 38MW Csoma I wind plant in August. It is located outside the northern city of Komárom and comprises 19 Gamesa 2MW turbines.
In September, the Hungarian Energy Office cancelled a tender for the construction of 410MW in wind farms, after the formation of a new government in May.
The tender had drawn preliminary bids to construct 1.1GW in wind farms and was the first opening for new projects since the government capped capacity at 330MW in a 2006 tender.
