It has ordered two turbines for the first phase of the 10MW project near Magdeburg. It has also signed an agreement with EFI Energy Farming International to organise construction of the wind farm.
Wind works secured debt financing for phase one of the project in December. Construction is expected to start in June 2010 and the turbines to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2011.
Enercon is currently developing a , which is fitted with a liquid cooled generator to enhance heat dissipation capacity.
The E82 2-2.3MW series is Enercon’s main volume product.
