Everpower secures $59m finance for Pennsylvania wind farm

UNITED STATES: KeyBank will provide $59 million in financing for the construction of Everpower's 75MW Highland North Wind Farm, in Pennsylvania.

EverPower already operates the Highland wind farm in Cambria County

The project is in the townships of Adams and Summerhill in Cambria Countyand will consist of 30 turbines. Site construction will begin in the spring.

Everpower will oversee the construction from its Mid-Atlantic headquarters in Pittsburgh and the project’s operations and maintenance from its Salix office.

In December, of N100 turbines for an unnamed project in Pennsylvania. It included a five-year service agreement.

The N100, designed for low to medium wind speeds is the latest generation of Nordex’s 2.5-MW N80/N90 turbines.

In the same month, to supply 51MW for one of four projects planned for New York, Ohio, Washington and Pennsylvania.

It will provide 25 MM92 2.05MW turbines, which are designed for low to medium wind speeds.

This was the second time Everpower selected Nordex, following a deal for 25 N90 turbines for the 62.5MW Highland wind farm in Cambria County, installed in 2009.
