US Wind Force will sell 33% of the power from the Pinnacle Wind Farm to the university, and 67% to the state’s Department of General Services.

Both organisations have agreed to 20-year contracts.

Six of the turbines will be located on the property of paper manufacturer NewPage Corporation, which is a partner on the project.

Construction is estimated to cost $131 million.
