Under the agreement, Enercon will supply its E-82 2.3MW turbines, which includes servicing and construction. The project will be based in the Pictou and Antigonish counties of Nova Scotia.
The project is set to go online at the end of this year and has been contracted out by Nova Scotia Power.
In December last year, Nova Scotia's government has moved the end-2010 deadline for 5% of the province's electricity supply to come from new renewable energy sources back a year, citing delays in wind project construction due to the global credit crisis.
