State-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Hrvatske Zajednice Herceg Bosne (EP HZHB), which is based in Mostar, is developing three wind park projects. These comprise the 52MW Borova Glava, situated near Livno, the 72MW Poklecani, near Rakitna in the municipality of Posusje, and the 32MW Velika Vlajna, north-west of Mostar. The 52MW project is worth EUR78 million, while the other two are valued at EUR53 million and EUR109 million, respectively. Meanwhile, fellow state-owned utility Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine has received the go-ahead for its Podvelezje wind farm, which is made up of the 46MW Podvelezje 1 and the 4MW Podvelezje 2. Both Bosnian state-owned power companies will finance the projects from their own resources and through loans.
